Senior Fire Engineer

My client is an internationally recognised organisation specialising in providing comprehensive engineering and project management consultancy services. Their primary focus is on the infrastructure and energy sectors, and they serve a diverse clientele, including government and private sector organisations. They offer a wide range of services, including design, engineering solutions, and project management.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in fire engineering or a related field
• Experience in fire modelling and the ability to collect data and effectively communicate findings in reports
• Previous experience working on a variety of projects in commercial, residential, and rail transportation sectors
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Thorough understanding of fire standards, including BS9999, NFPA 130, BS9992, and EN45545

Responsibilities:

• Assess sites to identify and address fire-related risks, collaborating with team members to minimize potential hazards
• Generate technical reports and engage with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to project completion and installation
• Review critical documentation and provide feedback on the quality of fire safety installations, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards
• Stay updated and well-versed in fire standards and regulations, and remain informed about any policy changes
