Do you have solid freight forwarding experience & looking for your next role Are you looking to join a well-established logistics company in which you can progress your career as they expand further Then this could be the role for you.

The Role:

As a senior member of the team will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish. Predominantly import sea freight, but you will also have the opportunity to handle export shipments, air & road.

You will be a focal point for both internal colleagues & clients for advice on shipments, Customs formalities and general shipping, so a good general forwarding background is a must.

Ideally you will have a good understanding of completing Customs entries using the new CDS system and entering to various regimes, Home Use, Bonded Warehouse, CFSP etc...

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous freight forwarding experience
  • Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading
  • Good customer services skills
  • Good IT knowledge

Desirable Criteria:

  • Transport experience

Our client is looking to pay between £27K & 35K for the right candidate, depending on experience.
