Senior Full-Stack Developer - Financial Services

Harrogate | Permanent - 4 days WFH, 1 day in office. Negotiable DOE

Are you a passionate Full-Stack Developer ready to shape the future of digital tools within the a growing financial services organisation?

We’re a growing, forward-thinking financial services firm based in Harrogate, and we’re on the lookout for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead the development of applications and integrations that streamline and transform how our financial advisers work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & develop integrations with third-party APIs and data sources.

• Build robust back-end services using Python or Node.js.

• Create intuitive, responsive UIs using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).

• Work with REST/GraphQL APIs, including authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT).

• Eliminate manual processes by implementing automated scheduling (cron jobs, serverless functions).

• Collaborate with an ETL specialist to ensure seamless data flows across platforms (CRM, Snowflake, etc.).

• Architect scalable, secure solutions in Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Manage deployments via Docker/Kubernetes, implement CI/CD pipelines, and follow best practices in DevOps.

About You

• Proficient in Python or Node.js for API and microservice development.

• Solid experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Strong front-end skills with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.

• Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerisation tools like Docker.

• Comfortable implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• A strong understanding of ETL processes, data workflows, and SaaS integrations.

• Passionate about performance, scalability, and clean coding practices.

• Background in finanical services is desired but not required.
