SENIOR GRANTS OFFICER - ENNISKILLEN

SALARY: £29,269 - £31,364 per annum (pro-rata dependent on experience)

EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract until the 31st of March 2025 (with the possibility of extension) (office-based)

My client is a leading non-profit organisation, specialising in working with and for young children. Based in Enniskillen, they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Grants Officer to join their team. The successful Senior Grants Officer will be responsible for providing senior administrative support to ensure a high level of service is delivered, resolving complex queries, providing advice and training and maintaining data & systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain senior administrative support for the project and ensure effective communication with project users, staff and other key stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain an engagement plan for all project users.
  • Lead and coordinate systems training for all project users.
  • Accurately and promptly process data files and invoices to support key payment cycles and deadlines.
  • Input verified information into a database or system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality are maintained.
  • Coordinate with other departments or external agencies to resolve discrepancies or gather additional information as required.
  • Co-ordinate the collation of information for relevant reports.
  • Respond to complex queries from a wide range of people, including both internal and external customers, and build good relationships with all stakeholders to provide a high standard of service.
  • Develop and maintain an Issue Log to detail issues and concerns, actions taken and communication with customers, held centrally and individually.
  • Provide support with data management, quality control and verification of payments.
  • Maintain needs-led computerised and manual systems to ensure that all appropriate data, trends, statistics and performance measures are gathered, analysed and communicated.
  • Assist with the development of quarterly implementation, management, progress and financial reports to lead funding body.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluating of financial activities and ensuring overall programme objectives are met.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties which the Line Manager(s) may feel necessary to ensure the success of the organisation and the achievement of its aim and objectives.

What you’ll need to succeed!

  • Degree Level Qualification AND 2 years’ relevant experience in a senior administrative and/or finance role, to include monitoring, managing and analysing of financial records/data to meet reporting requirements OR 4 years’ experience in a senior administrative and/or finance role, to include monitoring, managing and analysing of financial records/data to meet reporting requirements.
  • IT proficient with ability to demonstrate working knowledge in Microsoft Office packages including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook in particular, strong technical skills to analyse and produce statistical/partnership reports.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
