NonStop are looking for a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to work within the public sector. Where you will get excitement and challenges, help push the boundaries of cutting-edge science and technology, working on complex and sometimes sensitive projects.

Hybrid working - Wiltshire area

About the role

To lead Laser safety experts in developing the safety case and assuring compliance with all relevant regulations and regulatory bodies and to pro-actively contribute to safety working group panels, reviewing contractor provided safety documentation and delivering specific OME safety and environmental documents.

Essential Skills:

* Experience of Laser Weapons systems (possibly gained by undertaking activities within an Industrial or Defence environment).
* Understanding of probabilistic risk assessment.
* Knowledge of Safety critical software and modelling standards.
* Maritime and Land combat systems experience.
* Experience of OSRP (OME Safety Review Panel Process).
* Have a Scientific, Numerical or Engineering background.
* Experience of low and high-power Lasers.

An Active Clearance is required for this role.
