Senior IT Analyst

Proactive Personnel are working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit for a Senior IT Analyst to join their International Infrastructure Services team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Senior Technical Analyst will be responsible for overseeing a wide variety of analytical and technical assignments offering both IT operational support to users across the business and also working on projects.

Duties:

• Analyse complex technical systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation & developing strategies to enhance system functionality and performance.
• Providing day to day IT support for existing infrastructure services and end users.
• Working on projects leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services or EOL activities.
• Travel across sites to offer on-site support when required.
• Working closely with the IT Manager to offer support to the team.

Requirements:

• 5 years working within a similar role, ideally offering IT support within a medium-large business.
• Strong Cisco networking skill (CCNA)
• Knowledge of Windows client O/S and infrastructure platforms, network environments and concepts and Veeam Backup & Replication.
• The ability to work well independently with strong organisation skills to prioritise work efficiently.
• Some team leadership experience would be beneficial.
• The ability to travel between sites when required.
• 3rd line support experience.
