Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst – London/ Hybrid - £60,000 -£65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Office 365, Azure, Intune, Meraki, Mimecast

We are seeking a skilled Senior  IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our clients dynamic team. Under the supervision of the IT Infrastructure Lead, you will be responsible for managing the companies IT infrastructure, including technical and information security systems, cloud environments, and providing third-line technical support. This role involves close collaboration with the IT Service Desk Lead/Coordinator to drive continuous process improvement initiatives and offers opportunities to participate in key IT projects across the business.

  • Working Hours Monday to Friday 9am -5pm
  • 2 days office 3 days WFH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory.
  • Manage on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Oversee software application and desktop operating system deployment using Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager and Intune.
  • Administer Fortinet VPN, RSA authentication, Ivanti Security Controls, and Carbon Black anti-malware systems.
  • Manage Intune mobile device management and Wandera security systems.
  • Create automated deployments of technical/line-of-business applications for Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager and Intune.
  • Administer various third-party applications and systems, including USS Web Filtering, Rapid7 InsightIDR, Darktrace IDS/IPS, Egress email protection, Mimecast email gateway, Tenable Vulnerability Management and Nessus, Meraki Switches and APs, and others.
  • Effectively manage and resolve third-line Service Desk tickets.
  • Escalate technical issues to third-parties/vendors and ensure resolution in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Support IT Service Desk Lead/Coordinator/Head of IT Operations with change and problem management processes and attend CAB meetings.
  • Document solutions as appropriate.
  • Mentor and cross-train IT support analysts.
  • Participate in the implementation of new technical systems/applications, including testing and transitioning into service/BAU.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Proficient in Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune.
  • Experience managing SQL server.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise security systems, including end-point protection and patching technologies.
  • Excellent administration skills for Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and M365.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and group policy.
  • Ability to perform research and development into new systems in preparation for implementation and third-line support.
  • Experience with deployment of RPA or automation and AIP.
