Senior IT Progaramme/Project Manager - Financial Services
Rate: £800 to £900 per day – Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Duration: Min 9 Months
Location: Hybrid working – weekly travel to Warwickshire (2 / 3 days per week onsite) - Candidates based in the Midlands will be priorised
Start: Mid September 2024


Our leading financial services client in the West Midlands is recruiting for a highly accomplished, Senior IT Workstream Lead/Project Manager for an initial 9 month contract, to join them on their biggest transformation programme of work, based at their superb HQ premises in Warwickshire.

To qualify for this role you MUST have a strong delivery focused IT Project Management/Program Management/Management Consultancy background in the Insurance, Life & Pensions industry.

As a Senior IT Programme Manager, you will be required to:
  • Engage with senior business, project/programme managers and other programme stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of two IT projects/programmes
  • Lead the implementation of all side integration and technology change to support the implementation of the new solution. This includes the planning, ongoing securing of technical resource, day to day leadership and engagement through to live implementation and roll out across the business including handover to IT BAU leadership staff
  • Work, manage and influence third party software vendors, resource suppliers and other service suppliers – effectively holding them to account to ensure they deliver to their committed milestones
The successful individual will have worked at Senior IT programme/project manager level on complex financial services deliverables, gained in a highly regulated financial services environment.

You will have real gravitas, with good influencing skills to exec/board level, and experience managing multiple stakeholders and external parties/third party contracts and relationships.
