Senior IT Project Manager Location: Oxford Work pattern – one day per week in the office Salary: £65k plus car allowance / wide range of benefits
Our client is a large scale multi-faceted international business. Due to continued growth, they are recruiting for a Senior IT Project Manager who will be working on IT projects across the full technology stack. This role will be responsible for managing and delivering IT projects, within defined requirements for all sectors across the business.
Senior IT Project Manager Responsibilities -
Design, initiation and leading large scale and complex projects to achieve defined business outcomes
Planning across all stages of the project lifecycle
Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality objectives
Execution of project plans, monitoring progress and taking all necessary actions and escalations where appropriate
Management of projects through the required stage gates and adherence to frameworks and governance
Control of scope; raising and gaining approval of changes to scope
Reporting progress at agreed intervals to the required governance framework
Coordinate with clients, internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Manage all internal stakeholders to ensure customer success
Senior IT Project Manager profile -
Proven internal and external customer facing experience
Strong planning, organising and time management skills
Demonstrable track record of leading large teams in the delivery of professional services
Track record of raising the level of capability within a project delivery team
Experience of working in a centralised change environment and the management of complex stakeholders
Extensive end to end project delivery experience, using a variety of methodologies
Strong IT infrastructure project management experience with focus on WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi implementations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at senior management levels.
