Role Overview:

The Senior Operations Manager is a key member of the Accenture Jaguar Land Rover Operations team. This role oversees the delivery of nameplate reveal content and high level Stage Gate timings of end to end nameplate projects. They are responsible for tracking and reporting on required inputs and are the 'go to' for launch delivery; developing and establishing relationship across all areas of Accenture Song and with the JLR Comms, Launch and Product teams.

Responsibilities:

Primary Focus - The Senior Operations Manager will:
  • Take ownership of Stage Gate timings for end to end nameplate projects: forecasting and ensuring stage gates are tracked and any delivery risk escalated accordingly.
  • Report, track and manage delivery of nameplate reveal content.
  • Work with the wider Accenture Jaguar Land Rover Team including Account Management, Project Management and Production teams to communicate key deadlines and required inputs.
  • Have an awareness of future MY projects and input into Demand Capacity forecast and own programme plan.

Project Management - The Senior Operations Manager will:
  • Key stakeholder for Demand Capacity forecasting and communicating future JLR Model Year updates with Accenture stakeholders.
  • Manage and update reporting dashboard that allows senior stakeholders an overview of project health by stage gate and project gateway.
  • Report on nameplate reveal status internally and to JLR.
  • Attend and steer client/agency briefings, becoming the "go to person" for delivery/reveal questions.
  • Manage project milestones and deliverables in accordance with the implemented roadmap and RACI principles.
  • Track project inputs for nameplate launch content and escalate any risk.

Accountability - The Senior Operations Manager will:
  • Own the stage gate timings for end to end nameplate projects.
  • Owner of Accenture Master Brief Project Response, collating key information from Accenture teams and presenting Stage Gate timings to client team.
  • Own the delivery of programs spanning multiple workstreams.
  • Own the relationship with JLR Cross-Channel Comms
  • Obtain input timings and distribute internally
  • Ensure cross-channel alignment
  • Manage expectations, deliverable and launch timings with the client
  • Monitor out of scope situations and agree appropriate action with JLR Delivery Lead.
  • Set clear expectations and work with the team to deliver on Accenture Song and JLR priorities and deliverables
  • Proactively identify risks to delivery, escalating when necessary to avoid commercial risk and impact to SLA's.
  • Manage risk and provide mitigation plans to limit Stage Gate and reveal deliverables impact.

Collaboration - The Senior Operations Manager will:
  • Actively strive to support and contribute to the output of the wider team and agency
  • Keep all departments informed about project status and reveal relevant updates
  • Attend Weekly Launch Meeting with JLR Stakeholders to report on Stage Gate and reveal deliverables status
  • Attend BCB and relevant Brand Global sessions to input into stage gate project timings
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across Accenture Song as the go to person for reveal deliverables

Person Specification

Experience/Skills:
  • Sound working knowledge of all aspects of the marketing mix
  • Experience working in an advertising agency is essential
  • Innovative and strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Flair for multi-tasking and handling a high volume of work efficiently and accurately
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Financial acumen including estimating and budget tracking
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience project managing global processes
  • Adept at working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • People management experience
  • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint for Mac
  • Understanding of a global account including roll-out to Markets
  • Able to manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Able to articulate and present ideas with conviction - excellent presentation skills (both in-person and via phone)
  • A clear communicator, in person and writing
  • Highly organised and flexible
  • Automotive experience would be beneficial
