Description

• Provide expert and strategic legal advice within lending, equity, asset finance, project finance, and debt restructuring.
• Set internal governance policies and manage the impact of external factors.
• Anticipate issues and estimate risks strategically.
• Identify proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks.
• Deal with complex, significant matters that cut across legal and related areas.
• Ensure legal compliance and risk management.
• Create associations of trust and respect with key stakeholders.
• Attract, develop, direct, motivate and drive performance from team.

Profile

The successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:

• Professional qualification as a Solicitor or Barrister in the UK.
• Experience within banking and lending.
• Proven track record of providing expert and strategic legal advice.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal issues pertaining to the public sector.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Job Offer
