Due to continued growth, a leading European manufacturer of automotive parts is actively seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

With over 20 sites in Europe, the organisation holds a firm position within their industry, taking a professional approach throughout the business.

Your role will be to lead the maintenance team towards full TPM, ensuring continuous and safe running to reduce incidents and breakdowns.

***£45,000-55,000, day shift, 33 days holiday Life assurance***

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Leading in-house electrical installations and major technical maintenance operations such as toggle replacements, pump repairs and hydraulic seals replacements.
  • Taking responsibility for the technical side of in-house continuous improvement projects.
  • Enforcing a preventative mind-set rather than corrective.
  • Managing all aspects of 5S around maintenance.

To be successful in the role of Senior Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience at a similar level in an injection moulding environment
  • Be multi-skilled with a strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment and automation.
  • Hold electrical qualifications.
  • Be able to read and understand technical drawings (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical).
  • Be able to work well within teams as well as taking a lead.
