Private Equity backed Financial Services organisation in Bristol now seeks to appoint a recently qualified Senior Management Accountant. The Management Accountant works closely with colleagues across different departments, ensuring robust financial control is adhered to within a regulated environment.

Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Management Accountant supports the production of management, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in addition to delivering change projects identified by the finance department. The Management Accountant works closely with colleagues across different departments, ensuring robust financial control is adhered to within a regulated environment.

  • Analysing and modelling of revenue streams and office P&Ls
  • Preparation of finance business partnering packs, including analysis of expenses
  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting
  • Drive improvements to existing processes
  • Co-preparation of Board and management reports
  • Prepare statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 requirements
  • Assist with interim and full-year external audit queries, including preparing technical accounting papers
  • Preparation of regulatory (FCA) submissions
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances are accurate and valid

About You

We are looking to attract a recently qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in management reporting. Whilst FCA regulatory reporting would be an advantage (but not essential), experience of FRS 102 is a must.

We’d love you to bring strong MS Excel Skills with a good understanding of Lookups and Pivot tables and an ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
