This is a great opportunity where you will manage and deliver the weekly management accounts along with operational variances by site and KPI's. You will lead a team of 3, whilst continually looking to improve processes and streamline reporting time lines within the function.

Description

  • Producing accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts and business KPI reporting
  • Production and continual development of weekly profit & loss accounts, monthly reconciliations and management information to tight deadlines
  • Preparation of weekly variance analysis
  • Preparation of daily material variance reports
  • Preparation of daily labour variance reports
  • Produce detailed margin by SKU reports with understanding of driver/root cause.
  • System development on a project basis
  • Maintenance of standard costing system
  • Deputise for the finance manager as and when required.
  • To support multi-site operations teams with ad hoc requests

Profile

  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA (Qualified Accountant)
  • FMCG / Manufacturing background
  • Strong understanding of how a manufacturing business operates, and how transactions impact reported numbers.
  • Demonstrable working understanding of standard costing.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • An ability to solve problems using a logical and structured approach.
  • Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS office products (excel, word, outlook & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Highly numeric with string data and statistical analysis skills
