The main purpose of the CQA Manager role is to quality assess the credit decisions across the regional portfolio. Consequently, the CQA Manager must be able to demonstrate subject matter expertise in credit risk assessment and analysis, independently identifying and assessing the effectiveness of 1st and 2nd line analysis.
The successful candidate will gain exposure across the entire portfolio including Corporate and Structured Finance such as Aviation, Project Finance, Commodities and Securitisation, and engage with stakeholders across all 3 lines of defence.
Applicants must have extensive experience of working in a credit risk function within the financial services sector. This could be derived from Credit roles within the 1st, 2nd or 3rd line of defence. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of corporate, financial institutions, structured and transaction banking.
