Role Overview
* Production of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health services designs
* Conducting hand and computer aided calculations to validate designs
* Producing detailed specifications, schedules and employers' requirements
* Conduct site surveys and producing written reports
* Carry out interim inspections, reviewing on-site installations
* General project management
* Client liaison and progress meetings
Candidate Requirements
* At least 5 years working experience within the Building Services Industry, with a strong
understanding of Mechanical Engineering, HVAC and Public Health Services
* Degree qualification in Engineering, preferably in the Building Services Sector
(BEng/BSc or above)
* Has experience with attending site/site meetings to review the Mechanical and
Electrical services and undertake the design
* Can produce surveys and reports using technical knowledge to meet British Standards
* Experience running projects and dealing with clients/contractors
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the current British Standards & UK Building Regulations
* Strong working knowledge of CAD/BIM platforms (AutoCAD / Revit) & Microsoft Office documents
* Working knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) platforms (Cymap /
Hevacomp)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to work well both as part of a team and on your own
* Full Driving licence with use of own car (preferable as travel to site meetings will be
required from time to time
