Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will work with cross-functional teams in Industrial Design, Strategic Sourcing, Quality Assurance and OE Product Development. At the outset, you will be exposed to the design of retail customer-facing products at various points in their product life cycle.

In your first few weeks in this Design Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Design systems and components for new and updated accessory projects, considering function, cost, manufacture, assembly and quality
• Produce good quality 3D CAD models using Creo and 2D engineering drawings, to ASME Y14.5
• Follow and help maintain design, operational and quality procedures
• Produce supporting documentation for designs as required and present these designs in cross-functional team reviews.
