Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position: Mechanical Engineer - Solidworks
Rate: Up to £50 per hour, outside IR35
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Work schedule: 2 days per week onsite
Contract Length: 3 months initially, with a high likelihood of extension

Project Overview: Join an award-winning company specializing in the design and manufacture of healthcare consumer devices that are manufactured in high volume. The role requires proficiency in SolidWorks and experience designing products that enclose electronic PCBs and use plastic injection-moulded parts.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Full product lifecycle design from concept to manufacture
• Experience designing enclosures for electronics
• BEng or MEng degree

Desirable experience:

• High volume manufacturing design
• Experience in designing consumer products or medical devices
