We are currently recruiting for a Senior MI Analyst on behalf of our client, one of the leading brands in the UK insurance market.

The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the development and optimisation of the company's Power BI solutions. You will lead the design, development and maintenance of advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, as well as enabling operational teams within the company to achieve their strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, utilising technical skills in DAX and SQL to create robust and dynamic data visualisations.
• Drive the optimisation and enhancement of Power BI solutions.
• Engage with operational teams to deeply understand their data analysis needs and tailor Power BI solutions.
• Lead the communication of complex data findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Champion the continuous improvement of the MI delivery process, leveraging Power BI development skills to streamline reporting and increase efficiency.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of development and growth in Power BI competencies.
• Oversee the governance of KPI changes and definitions, applying technical expertise to ensure accuracy and relevance in KPI metrics.
• Manage the day-to-day allocation of BAU work, utilising a deep understanding of Power BI development to prioritise tasks effectively.

Key Requirements

• Experience in delivering MI through data visualisation tools (preferably Power BI) across operational teams.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficient or working towards proficiency in technical disciplines such as DAX, SQL, R, and Python.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to forge relationships across senior stakeholders.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Power BI professional accreditation, or working towards this.
