As the Senior Microbiology Scientist, your expertise will contribute to their mission of delivering reliable and timely diagnostic solutions to healthcare professionals and patients.

Some of your responsibilities and skills will include:

  • Designing and executing experiments to develop and optimize microbiology assays, focusing on accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with research, engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of microbiology assays into diagnostic platforms.
  • Developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure the consistency and reliability of assay results.
  • Analyzing experimental data, interpreting results, and presenting findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Staying current with advancements in microbiology, diagnostics, and relevant technologies to drive innovation within the company.
  • BSc/MSc in microbiology or related biological field required
  • Preferred (two years +) experience of working in an R&D environment within an IVD setting to ISO 13485 and experience drafting documentation required to support assay development.
