Network IT is currently recruiting for a Senior Network Analyst, to join our client in Birmingham on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 months. There is possibility to extend due to the length of the various project timelines and complexities of the work.

Our client is currently in the midst of a network refresh, phasing out legacy kit to implement new tech such as Aruba WiFi, ClearPass and more, they need some extra support in the team and are now looking to bring in an additional Senior Network Analyst, to support in an operational capacity (BAU), along with some project based activities. 

In this role, you’ll be supporting an existing team and acting as an escalation point, supporting and mentoring junior network staff, providing leadership and technical guidance to support the network operations team work effectively towards project goals. 

Please note, this will be a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. 

Role: Senior Network Analyst 
Contract: 3 Months (possibility to extend)
Location: Birmingham
Rate: Up to £500 per day
Status: Inside IR35
Working Practice: 3 to 4 days per week onsite

Key Skills / Tech Stack:
  • Strong Network Engineering background, comfortable operating in a senior capacity within a team of engineers / analysts. Must be capable of mentoring junior staff, and able to provide leadership qualities. 
  • Skills in Aruba WiFi / ClearPass
  • General Cisco switching and routing skillset
  • Fortigate Firewalls
  • F5 Loadbalancing (nice to have)
  • WAN / LAN
