The company
Are you looking for your next role as a Senior New Product Development (NPD) technologist within food manufacturing? We are currently working with a Food manufacturing business in a category that continues to challenge itself around NPD. You will be involved in all stages of NPD, from creation of ideas, recipe development and trials to scale up and commercialisation. Working closely with the gate process, we are looking for someone who has a food related degree and proven experience taking products from idea creation to launch. 

The role
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior NPD Technologist to provide high quality development concepts which meet both company and customer requirements.  You will manage development projects from initial concept right through to product launch, displaying a proactive and innovative approach in the development of the products while working within company and customer policy constraints.  

Taking responsibility for a number of dedicated retail accounts and specific branded projects, you will carry out idea generation prior to starting projects and translate briefs through kitchen and pilot plant work, including product costings, factory trials and artwork checking.  

Candidates for this role will ideally hold a degree or equivalent in food science coupled with practical product development experience gained within a food manufacturing environment. Self motivated, we are looking for someone who has experience of product development from concept through to launch with the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.  A fantastic customer facing role that would suit an individual who loves to be innovative, and has excellent customer liaison and presentation skills.
