Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000, dependig on experience
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role:

As a Senior Nursery Nurse / Nursery Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursery room. You will be responsible for leading and managing a small team of nursery nurses, providing high-quality care and education to children. Your main duties will include:

• Planning and implementing engaging and educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of each child.
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting your team to maintain the highest standards of childcare.
• Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child’s progress.
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a nursery setting, with at least 2 years of experience leading a room.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications (desirable but not essential).
