Senior Operations Manager

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Senior Management team of this niche tour operator. They are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to head up the day-to-day operations of the company including booking administration, operations, and client care. The role will be directly responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of all our travel services and the role involves strategic planning, process creation and optimisation, team leadership, and maintaining high standards of customer service. They are looking for someone with direct experience from within a tour operator environment who will relish the opportunity to structure and run a current team of 5 in the very best way possible to achieve the functions needed. The role will also form part of the company's overall Senior Management Team and will have visibility and input into all areas of the business. We are looking for a loyal, persuasive and inspirational leader capable of driving success at all levels.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably from within a tour operator environment.

* Skills:

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficient in using travel management software and CRM systems.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Detail-oriented and high attention to detail.

* Experience of using GDS systems (Amadeus ideally)

* Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Salary from £40,000 - £50,000 DOE Plus Bonus
