Senior OT Cyber Security Engineer

Our client, operating in the controls and automation sector, is currently seeking a Senior OT Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in Chesterfield. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of secure Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS).

• Lead OT cyber security project lifecycle activities to deliver secure by design IACS
• Deliver OT cyber security consultancy services
• Manage continuous improvement of the OT Cyber Security Management System (CSMS)
• Facilitate and conduct ISA-62443-3-2 based cyber security risk assessments
• Create defence in depth, segmented system architectures
• Develop secure by design IACS to meet client requirements
• Implement OT cyber security controls and countermeasures
• Support Project Managers with planning and execution of OT cyber security aspects

• Experience in OT cyber security for PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
• Knowledge of cyber security solutions for OT/IACS environments
• Ability to develop policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Understanding of industrial networking protocols like Modbus, PROFINET
• Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 suite of standards
• Experience with OT cyber security applications such as IDS and SIEM
• Strong project management capabilities
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers

• Degree or HND/HNC in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Professional registration or working towards it
• Relevant OT cyber security certification (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443 Cyber Security Expert)
