Client Details

Our client is a reputable company within the professional services industry. It is a business that really values its employees and promotes all having a work life balance. You will be based from its office just outside of Nottingham city centre and will be working as part of a team.

Description

You will be responsible for processing payrolls for various clients. The payrolls will be on varying frequencies e.g. quarterly, weekly, monthly, 4 weekly etc... Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Producing various payrolls from cradle to grave
  • Carrying out manual calculations where necessary
  • Dealing with payroll queries
  • Processing P45s, P46s, P11Ds
  • Calculating maternity, paternity and sickness pay.
  • Running various payroll reports
  • Liaising with HMRC and pension providers
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Preparing year end returns

Profile

To apply for this position, you:

  • Must have a minimum of 18 months' experience of working in payroll - essential
  • Must have knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory payments - essential
  • Will ideally have worked in a payroll bureau environment or within a practice - desirable

Job Offer

  • £26,000 - £36,000 (dependent upon experience)
  • Initially office based, but the option to work 1-2 days PW from home after probation
