  • Job Type: Part-time (25 hours per week), Hybrid (Mondays & Tuesdays in the office)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Manager to join our team on a 3-month contract with the potential for permanent employment. This role is crucial for managing and delivering the UK payroll for approximately 200 employees using the Company’s IRIS Cascade integrated HR & Payroll system.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Full end-to-end processing of our monthly in-house payroll for circa 200 employees.
  • Managing disbursements including HMRC liabilities and court orders.
  • Ensuring all payroll changes are fully authorised and actioned in collaboration with the HR Advisor.
  • Providing accurate and timely management information on all aspects of payroll and liaising closely with key stakeholders.
  • Responding to payroll queries from employees in a confidential manner within agreed timeframes.
  • Managing all family-friendly leave calculations and ensuring accurate recording on IRIS Cascade.
  • Undertaking year-end procedures including the preparation and distribution of relevant payroll reports.
  • Managing the payroll of all benefits and checking monthly benefit data.
  • Processing the monthly pension upload and ensuring compliance with pension auto-enrolment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in payroll and benefits, with proven expertise in managing UK payroll and ensuring compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly IRIS Cascade.
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in automating processes.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws, tax regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills, able to manipulate large data sets including using VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
