Your new company
My client is a well-established pensions company, which delivers first-class administrative service to a number of FTSE and multinational companies across the UK. Their strong reputation is built on technical expertise and quality service, and they are now looking for an ambitious professional to join their team as a full-time, permanent Senior Administrator.
Your new role
As a Pension Administrator, your primary responsibilities include maintaining accurate member records, handling complex queries from clients and scheme members, and ensuring compliance with scheme rules. You'll perform intricate pension calculations, process various member events, and collaborate with the team to improve operational efficiency. Meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards are essential aspects of this role.
What you'll need to succeed
As a qualified Pension Administrator, you should have hands-on experience in day-to-day pension administration, specifically working with defined benefit (DB), defined contribution (DC), and career average revalued earnings (CARE) pension arrangements. Your ability to perform complex pension calculations accurately and review others' work meticulously is crucial. Additionally, a strong understanding of defined benefit member calculation processes, various scheme types, and relevant governing legislation is essential. You'll need to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and maintain exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate within a team are also key attributes for success in this role.
What you'll get in return
You'll benefit from the incredible opportunity to build a career in a long-established, highly regarded company with lots of progression opportunities. You'll receive fully comprehensive training on systems and specific pension regulations and a starting salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 with an excellent benefits package to match. You will work 9-5:30 Monday to Friday and benefit from fantastic flexible working options, such as a flexitime policy which allows you to choose flexible variations of your working hours (such as 8-4 or 10-6 etc); and a hybrid working policy (after your initial onboarding period). Mostly, you will benefit from working for a company that nurtures its employees, choosing to promote from within on a regular basis.
