Senior Practitioner - Safeguarding & Support
Location: Ross-on-Wye, Leominster, or Hereford
Salary: Up to £48,693 per annum (£39,513 - £43,693 plus a £5,000 market supplement)
Contract: Permanent | Hours: 37 per week
Relocation Package: Up to £10,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join the Safeguarding & Support Team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working collaboratively with partner agencies to support children and families.

The Role

As a Senior Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to social workers, apprentices, and family support workers.

  • Lead on practice development, training, and quality assurance.

  • Work closely with managers to develop the team and ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Support the implementation of professional standards, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For
  • A qualified social worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent).

  • At least three years' experience in statutory social work.

  • A commitment to relationship-based practice and improving outcomes for children.
