Senior Process Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer who will take a leading role in all aspects of Process Engineering with particular emphasis on future major development projects.

You will be working as part of a multi-functional project team, providing process engineering expertise for major projects.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitating new process equipment specifications and commissioning of plant.
Supporting the delivery of the detailed design of process plant, equipment, instrumentation, control philosophy and materials selection.
Developing Heat and Mass balances, Process simulations, PFD’s, P&ID’s and Equipment, and line lists.
Defining equipment relief case definition and subsequent relief stream sizing and equipment and line sizing.
Participating in all relevant HAZARD study stages, LOPA Studies, Process risk assessments, SIL assessments and Maintainability and Operability studies.
At certain stages of the projects there will be a requirement for you to lead contract and junior process engineers.
Checking, and approving other process engineers calculations and documents.
At times you will be supporting site teams, by providing technical process engineering expertise, running plant trials, and leading optimisation, efficiency, and debottlenecking projects.
Our ideal candidate
Has a minimum of 5 years experience in the chemical industry, ideally including some food and pharma.
Will be a Chartered Chemical Engineer.
Has proven experience working as a Senior Process Engineer on major capital projects.
Has demonstrable process safety awareness, including experience participating in HAZARD studies, LOPA Studies, Process risk assessments and SIL assessments.
Is self-managing and can work to deadlines.
Is a team player with a collaborative approach.
