Due to continued growth, we have been retained on an exciting assignment for a client who are a major player in their field. They are looking to recruit a Senior Product Manager to be based at one of their sites in the South West. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing their portfolio of products to contribute to sustainable business growth. You will build products from existing ideas based on research and contact with customers, prospects, internal stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and drive the roadmap for our products
  • Internalize and represent the customers' voice throughout the product lifecycle
  • Write and maintain business cases and gain internal approval
  • Collect and measure key product metrics against goals to inform success of each release and plan iterations accordingly
  • Run field testing programs
  • Translate market trends into a compelling product direction and vision
  • Provide sales tools, briefings, updates and training
  • Look at new and future trends in the market to ensure the companies solution is the market leader and that new opportunities are identified.

Qualifications

  • Track record of new product development (HVAC / Renewables / Connected Products desirable)
  • Proven experience of managing multiple projects and working to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrable experience of creating sales and marketing plans and product launch
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions based on data and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to drive cross functional teams
  • Able to work under own initiative and drive projects forward, as well as supporting others
