Summary

As the administrative heart of the Wilder Wallington project, you’ll provide support to the project team, ensuring that we deliver. The rewards? A wealth of wildlife that can be shared with everyone.

Hours:  This can be flexible to suit the right candidate so please talk to us at interview about the hours you would like to do. Maximum 37.5 hours – minimum 26.25 hours per week.

Salary: £26,832pa FTE

Contract: Fixed for 30 months 

Interviews: 18th July - we would prefer to conduct face to face interviews, however we can accommodate virtual interviews for those who would like to apply but live outside of the area and would relocate for this role.

Reporting to the Wilder Wallington Project Manager, you’ll be part of a multiskilled team working together to enable nature recovery on the Wallington Estate.

Your contractual place of work will be the National Trust office at Holy Jesus Hospital, Newcastle. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at National Trust places.

What you'll be doing

Day to day, you’ll be supporting the project team to deliver a dynamic and constantly evolving project. Your meticulous organisation of project finances, systems and processes will ensure that the project runs smoothly and that all requirements from our funders are met.

You’ll be a vital source of information to all, demonstrating a clear understanding of the project and sharing your enthusiasm for its outputs and outcomes.

You’ll have the chance to support different aspects of the project, from woodland planting to wetland creation, harnessing your interest in the natural world.
