Senior Project Engineer - £55,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Bens

Flexible working hours - Hybrid.

Are you passionate about leading large scale project implementations in the intralogistics / warehouse automation industry? Do you have in depth experience developing and overseeing project layouts, specifications and designs in automation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

My client is a leading company in the intralogistics industry, dedicated to optimising material handling solutions. They are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project engineering for integrated systems from concept to delivery.
  • Prepare and review design layouts, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure designs meet statutory, safety, and customer-specific standards, including CE/UKCA requirements.
  • Conduct engineering design reviews and develop cost-effective, compliant solutions.
  • Produce detailed documentation including CAD drawings, BOMs, specifications, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to meet project objectives within budget and schedule.
  • Oversee installation and resolve engineering issues on client sites as needed.

Essential Skills:

  • 5 years experience working within a comparable role
  • Mechanical Engineering Qualification
  • AutoCAD 2D Skills
  • Ability to deal with large amounts of technical information
