A rare and fantastic opportunity has arisen to join my client, a very successful estate agency, that is looking to build on its successful team with the addition of a Senior Property Manager within their branch in the Chelmsford area.

This position will see the successful individual managing a small team within the property management and lettings department. Therefore, to be considered for the position you must have previous extensive experience in property management, as well as, being enthusiastic and energetic with fantastic communication skills and a positive 'can do' attitude.

The successful Senior Property Manager will be offered:

  • Up to £30,000 basic
  • £35,000 OTE
  • Ongoing training & support

Senior Property Manager requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a property manager within an estate agency 
  • Full UK driving licence
  • This role is great for someone managing a small team or someone who is well-versed in property management
  • Strong IT skills
  • A team player
  • Good communication skills; both written and verbal 
  • Well Organised

Key tasks for the Senior Property Manager will include, but will not be limited to:

  • General maintenance issues
  • Speaking with tenants and landlords
  • Deal with customer care calls
  • Arranging for contractors to visit the properties to provide quotes and competition on works
  • Managing, developing and supporting a small team
  • Assist the team with producing a range of letters, notices and tenancy agreements
  • Ensure the team are carrying out all required works to the client’s standard
  • Work closely with the head of the department and across other departments as and when required
