Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk - £30.000 - £45.000 - 2-month contract - Chessington - 3 days from home
I am currently recruiting for a leading business who require a Purchase Ledger Accountant to cover for a busy period.
Key duties:
- Accurately manage a robust purchase order process:
- Receive and match supplier invoices against approved purchase orders.
- Upload and store matched supplier invoices into the accounting system ready for payment.
- Ensure appropriate document referencing and storage.
- Initiate payment requests in line with agreed payment terms.
- Post appropriate accounting journals.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve issues.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reporting.
- Complete month end activities accurately and timely.
- Manage relationships with internal and external suppliers.
- Ad-hoc duties required by the business.
What you will need to be successful:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Team player
- Available immediately
