An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior QC Analyst to join our client, a successful and dynamic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, based in Great Yarmouth.
This is a full time, permanent position, based in Great Yarmouth, working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm Friday 8am to 3.30pm
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant experience of working in a QC laboratory with a degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience of HPLC, GC, autotitrators, rheometric analysis, spectrometry and wet chemistry techniques
- Experience of microbiological monitoring, COSHH assessment and computerised laboratory management systems would be desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to liaise effectively at all levels of the business
- Demonstrable ability to take decisions, analyse information in a logical manner and prepare coherent investigative and/or technical reports
- Competence in computer packages, Microsoft Office and electronic quality management system.
- Competence in delivering training to a variety of internal audiences
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks to achieve deadlines
- Emotionally resilient with the ability to work under pressure in a continually changing environment.
The role will involve:
- Routine and non-routine testing activities of raw materials, bulk & finished packed samples in compliance with authorised test procedures using HPLC, GC & wet chemistry techniques
- Working to ensure samples and test activities are scheduled to meet production requirements in line with the production plan and outstanding orders.
- Environmental sampling
- General Laboratory maintenance including equipment & calibration of apparatus
- Providing training and support to other analysts in the team.
- Completion of investigations LIs / OOS / OOT

This role will be based at the Group’s manufacturing site where a wide variety of products are manufactured and released to the market.
