Position Sought: Senior or Project QS
Company: Water/Civil Contractor
Project: Thames Water Framework
Location: Hampton or On-site (depending on location)
Contract: Freelance (Outside IR35)
Rate: £450 p/d - £500 p/d (depending on experience)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 2 days working from home)

My client, who is a repeatable Water/Civil specialist contract, is looking for a Senior/Project QS to join them in helping deliver over £200m worth of infrastructure work for the next 5 to 10 years across the South and South West of England.

The successful candidate will be working on both infrastructure and non-infrastructure works with both clean and waste water division. Works will include;

  • Water distribution mains replacement
  • New or refurbished pumping stations
  • New and replacement water trunk mains
  • Water pressure management activities
  • Inspection and maintenance of aqueducts, bridges and tunnels
  • New and replacement waste rising mains
  • Survey, rehabilitation and replacement of sewers near and crossing rail
  • Gravity solutions to maintain asset health and accommodate growth together with pipe bridge

This a freelance or temp to perm position and is Outside IR35. The client is flexible with regards to hybrid working and you can be based out of the Hampton office or on site which can be based in the following areas, Steveange/Stansted, Crawely/Reading or Bexley.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive
  • Minimum of 6 years worth of Quantity Surveying experience
  • Experience working with NEC or ICMEA forms of contract
  • Must have Civil or ideally Water experience
