Job Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 DOE
Working hours/ days: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Permanent
Benefits: Company Car, Competitive Package
Eleven Eleven Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.
• Conduct detailed feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
• Prepare, negotiate, and analyse costs for tenders and contracts.
• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project completion within budget.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
