Senior Research Grants Officer
Your new company
A highly successful department part of the University of Oxford is recruiting a full-time Senior Research Grants Officer to join their team of three, reporting to the Business Manager. You will be part of a much larger finance function based at the John Radcliffe Hospital. Hybrid working will be available after passing the three-month probationary period.
Your new role
The Research Grants Team, consisting of the Research Grants Manager, the Senior Research Grants Officer (this post) and the Research Grants Apprentice, are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all research grants, from ensuring that applications are submitted in a timely manner, new awards are set up correctly and awards are monitored according to sponsor’s terms and conditions and agreeing interim and final financial reports. What you'll need to succeed
You must have administrative/operational experience, with exposure to analysing financial data and working with numbers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence to work on various financial systems are essential
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive annual salary between £32,000 - £38,000, 38 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), and a generous pension contribution. Hybrid working will be available, and flexible start/finish times.
