This role would suit an experienced Senior Retail Area Manager, you will be managing 5 Area Managers, each with 10-15 retail outlets across the East Midlands. You will be responsible for motivating, leading, coaching and managing the teams, helping them to achieve targets and exceed customer service standards. You will be analytically minded, au-fait with Power BI and Excel, being able to interpret and manipulate sales data. The role would suit an IT-savvy, passionate, commercial, target-driven person with Senior Retail Area Management experience (multi-site is essential) a background in food would be great too.

Salary is £40,000-45,000 DOE. Benefits include Company Car, Mileage, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, staff discount and profit share bonus.
Days & hours of work - 40 hours per week Monday - Saturday, 1 in 4-6 Sundays. Between 8am - 5pm

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

  • Manage and motivate the retail teams to increase sales and ensure they work effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure customer service, quality and health & safety standards are met, and resolving any issues
  • Responding to customer complaints
  • Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns and customer service initiatives
  • Carrying out appraisals, disciplinaries and performance plans as required
  • Setting targets and monitoring store performance

ABOUT YOU

  • Retail management experience is essential, this must be multi-site experience.
  • Employee relations (ER) experience is essential
  • Food background is highly desirable, including food hygiene and compliance
  • Commercially savvy, target-driven, great people management skills, energy, passion, skilled at motivating others
  • IT savvy, including Power BI, and Excel.
