The Role 

The Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the Europe Chief Risk Officer and the Risk team in conducting various risk management activities within the agreed ERM Function plan(s). The Senior Risk Analyst will work closely with the business and other corporate functions to support the embedding of risk management practices in the organization.

The role reports to the Europe Chief Risk Officer.

Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of all Risk and Control Assessments for lines of business and corporate functions.
Support with the implementation and training of the GRC tool across Europe.
Collate and analyze data to support the production of relevant risk analysis and risk reporting.
Assist with producing regular relevant committee risk reporting.
Support and facilitate risk assessment processes, such as new products, risk acceptance etc., including maintaining relevant logs.
Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of risk issues / incident process, including associated action plans, ensure they are identified, captured, investigated and reported appropriately.
Support the Risk team with minutes of meetings and development of action logs.
Assist with developing and delivering risk management training to lines of business and corporate functions.
Assist with the regulatory capital management assessment processes, including scenario analysis, analysis of resources, wind-down planning and drafting associated reporting.
Partner with segment, geography, and corporate function Risk Co-ordinators on all aspects of the ERM Framework, i.e., risk & control assessment process, risk issues, incidents, GRC system, training etc.

The Requirements 

    Educated to degree level or equivalent and a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous
    Experience in similar position, preferably in the insurance sector, is desirable
    Good knowledge of risk management processes
    Team player, excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
    Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
    Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and user experience of GRC systems
    Highly organized and comfortable working autonomously
