We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong client relationships, and leading strategic initiatives to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sales processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Established in 2002, Rapidsource IT is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of tablets, notebooks and desktop spare parts. We specialise in sourcing and globally supplying an extensive range across all technology brands.

The successful candidate will be someone with a strong work-ethic, attention to detail and a willingness to contribute ideas to a growing business. To successfully work at Rapidsource, you need to be adaptable, flexible and have a passion for technology.

Main requirements of the role

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Use systems to manage customer interactions and track sales performance.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and maintain knowledge of products and services.

What we are looking for from great candidates

  • Proven experience in a sales role with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Experience in IT hardware sales would be valuable.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong negotiation skills.

We are looking for applicants who can start within the next few weeks, ideally by 01/04/25

This is a Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm role based in our offices in Harlow, Essex
