Security Architect

We are currently recruiting for a Security Architect to join one of our Higher Education clients on a 6 month contract.

Please note this role is Inside IR35, and Hybrid Working in London 2 days per week (Mondays and Fridays)

Experience:

• Experience in using architecture methodologies such as SABSA, Zachman and/or TOGAF
• Evaluation of supplier responses to security due diligence questionnaires
• Experience relating to security of data lake implementations is desirable
• At least one of:
  * Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure
  * Direct experience designing IAM technologies and services
  * Strong working knowledge of IT service management (e.g., ITIL-related disciplines)

Responsibilities:

• Develop security strategy plans and road maps based on recognised enterprise architecture practices.
• Develop and maintain security architecture artefacts (models, templates, standards and procedures) that can be used to strengthen security capabilities in projects and operations.
• Contribute to threat analysis of services, products, platforms and applications.
• Provide leadership on service and application security architecture matters to staff, and to the wider community.
• Act as a focal point and subject matter expert on Architecture Working Group on matters related to security architecture and design.
• Develop clear security strategies for the enterprise that complement the wider vision and mission and lead research studies to establish the future technical direction for security design aspects.
• In conjunction with peers in the architecture practice and units to standardize product sets (including versions) and target architectures.
