Senior SMCR Specialist 12 month FTC

Global asset management firm with an expanding footprint across EMEA markets seeks a senior SMCR specialist with its compliance function to provide maternity cover for 12 months. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Advisory Manager and with one member of staff reporting in, the successful candidate will take the lead in ensuring the firm adheres to its SMCR obligations, reviewing the framework, identifying enhancements and implementing change. Successful performance hinges on maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring senior management is aware of and understands the requirements of SMCR. In doing so, the incumbent needs a holistic view and consider the impact of FCA regulations beyond SMCR. Candidates are sought with at least 6 years financial services experience, of which 4 must be SMCR related.
