Senior Software Engineer

Avanti Recruitment is working with a London-based provider of green/renewable energy technology and is looking for a senior software engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team, where you'll be working on bringing their current prototypes to market, as well as brand new product development.

You'll be working closely with various AI, cloud, software, and hardware engineers and be involved with both low-level embedded software/firmware, as well as higher-level applications development - a great role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and working in a dynamic team.

What we're looking for:
A degree in Computer Science or EEE
Demonstrable experience with Python & working on embedded platforms (ARM, Raspberry Pi's would be advantageous)
Embedded Linux experience (Raspian, Ubuntu, Yocto, etc.)
Experience with IoT/networking technologies such as MQTT, TCP/IP, etc.
Familiarity with communications protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART

Bonus points for:
Linux device drivers
CAN/Modbus protocols

On offer is a salary up to £75,000 + options, discretionary bonus, and benefits.
