The Role
  • Creating & developing cutting edge software solutions for different public sector clients such as NHS, Ministry of Justice and The Home Office
  • Focused on outcome-based delivery - making sure the customers needs are met and achieved through technology. 
  • Using the best technology to do the job - the teams use used Java, Scala, Ruby, Python, ES6 with React, as well as C# with .NET Core. 
  • Utilising AWS cloud and DevOps culture to deliver high performing software and rapid changes
  • Writing & performing testing in a TDD environment 


Your Experience
  • Must have proven experience in software development - ideally with a variety of languages and a passion to expand your skills - the team has used Java, Scala, Ruby, Python, ES6 with React, as well as C# with .NET Core. 
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable liasing with stakeholders and customers
  • You mus be eligible for Security Clearance - this means being a permanent citizen and residing in the UK for over 5 years 
  • Experience in writing tests and/or TDD
  • Agile practices such as Scrum, XP, and/or Kanban
  • Pair programming – we pair around 50% of the time
