Job Title: Senior Solicitor/ Partner - Commercial team

Location: Southampton or Guildford

Hours: Permanent, Full-Time

The Position:

Featured in The Times’ Best Law Firms 2024 list, our client is looking for a senior Associate Solicitor / Partner to work within their Commercial Team, either from their Southampton or Guildford offices.

The specialist Commercial and technology team deals with all matters relating to commercial and technology law. The team advises a wide range of clients from SMEs to larger PLC clients on everything related to the smooth running of their organisation from a commercial law perspective.

You will manage and develop your mixed caseload of complex commercial and technology law matters while playing a vital role in the supervision and continued growth of the team

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Commercial lawyer to join the team as a Senior Associate with ongoing training, development, and support to progress toward Partnership.

What We Look For:

  • A qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive or Partner with strong experience in dealing with a wide range of commercial and technology agreements. Experience with technology clients and familiarity with IP and Data Protection Law is especially encouraged.
  • Proactive with a track record of managing clients independently and delegating to and supervising junior solicitors.
  • This position would suit someone with at least 5 years PQE, but welcome applications from individuals with the right experience and a desire to progress to Partnership or make a lateral move.
