A Top 10 North West based Accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Service Charge Accountant to join their office in Stockport. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established firm and help to shape, develop and lead the team. This firm provides a range of accounting, tax, audit, advisory and business services to a variety of clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to medium-sized companies up to large enterprises. Their goal is to provide a personalised service to maximise client benefits.

Your new role
As a Senior within the specialist service charge team, you will take ownership of your own portfolio of clients and will support in delivering an excellent client service as you begin to develop longstanding client relationships. The day-to-day duties involve producing complex annual service charge accounts for clients while offering advice on best practice and recommendations. You will support junior team members as a mentor to answer day-to-day queries, including reviewing files. Additionally, tasks involve completing budgets, being aware of targets and working towards achieving them.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a similar role and be AAT qualified (or equivalent). Your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development such as more effective client management and also steps towards staff management.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £27,000 and £30,000 dependent on experience. You will have the option to have hybrid and flexible working options.
