Senior Supply Planner
The Senior Supply Planner will primarily be involved in managing the complete supply chain operations within the industrial / manufacturing industry. This includes procurement strategies, vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient stock management to meet customer demands.

Our client is a leading player in the industrial/manufacturing industry, boasting an employee base of over 5,000. With its headquarters located in Manchester, the company has an extensive network of stores across the UK.
Description
- Oversee all supply chain operations, from procurement to delivery.
- Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve beneficial terms.
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstock and ensure product availability.
- Liaise with key company executives on supply planning and strategies.
- Supervise and coach a team within the procurement & supply chain department.
- Implement new technologies to streamline supply chain processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Profile
A successful Senior Supply Planner should have:
- A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and vendor management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software.
