Forward Role are once again working with this fantastic digital marketing agency in Manchester who are looking for a Senior Technical SEO Specialist who is bright and driven and looking to join a team that really rewards their staff.

They have big plans for 2024 following a recent exciting takeover and expansion. You’ll be working for an agency who are collaborative, data driven, and just generally a really friendly bunch. This is an opportunity to lead their technical SEO offering and you will join a team of talented digital specialists based in their modern, super creative and social city centre office.

Your role will involve:

• Planning and implementing technical SEO strategies for various clients, independently and in collaboration with other members of the team
• Conducting thorough technical site audits to address underlying issues and develop a roadmap of valuable, forward-looking activities for each client
• Contributing to the development of new technical SEO products and services including leveraging ChatGPT/scripts for example
• Performing regular and ad-hoc technical SEO tasks on an ongoing basis
• Conducting keyword research independently and in partnership with the content team.
• Assisting with planning and forecasting for existing clients and participating in the new business process
• Analysing and cleaning up client backlink profiles
• Staying updated on best practices and sharing information about emerging tools 
• Aiding in the expansion of the tech SEO team and recruiting new staff, as well as training and mentoring junior team members

In terms of experience, you'll need an in-depth understanding of current organic search best practice with regards to technical SEO and Content and have proven SEO experience either in an agency or inhouse.
